Thought this one was one of Spillane's best, even though he wrote it 40 years after his heyday.

Yeah, he really makes you believe that even an older Hammer with a couple of bullets in him could still make a hell of a detective.

Yeah I especially like how it starts out with him getting 3 slugs in his gut and working a case while he convalesces. :lol:
